A powerful record of Australia’s role in the Great War, this 1919 first edition of Australia in Palestine was published in Sydney by Angus & Robertson and produced almost entirely by soldiers in the field. Edited by H.S. Gullett and Chas. Barrett, with David Barker as Art Editor, the volume brings together 153 pages of text, 20 coloured plates, and 36 photographs, offering a vivid and immediate portrait of the Australian Light Horse in the Middle East.
